My name is Angela. I am your attentive bridal seamstress working from my home studio.
Brides come to me for a personal boutique experience that they deserve, and receive unmatched attention to detail when it comes to their dress. Ever since my first bridal client took a chance on me, I knew this would be my specialty.
Sewing and crafting have always been my hobby and I am thankful to have discovered this business.
I truly love what I do.
All services are offered by appointment only because I operate out of my home. Book your first fitting two to three months ahead of your wedding date.
A deposit is required to retain my services and covers all fitting fees plus a link to your personalized step-by-step bustle demonstration video.
For more details, fill out the form below to start an email conversation. If you're ready to book, make sure you reserve your spot by clicking the "Book Now" link.
I look forward to working with you!
The best time frame is three months before your wedding date. However, if you are experiencing anything that affects your weight fluctuating, you may need to wait until closer to your wedding date. Choosing a date for your first fitting should be done as soon as you have your dress, to save your spot with your seamstress.
That totally depends on what type of alterations you need, and how your dress was made. Things like “does your dress have lace,” and “how many layers of fabric does the skirt have,” affects the price a lot. A ballpark estimate can be provided from pictures, but an actual fitting is needed to narrow down the price better. I have a general guide above!
A consultation will allow your seamstress to give a more accurate price estimate and help you build a plan when it comes to the alteration process, but no pinning will be done, and your dress does not stay with the seamstress. At a fitting, the seamstress will do pinning and take detailed notes as to which alterations will be done and how. A detailed invoice will be created, and your dress will stay with the seamstress.
At your first fitting, we will discuss the entire plan for getting your gown to fit exactly how you want. Alterations are done from the top down, and most brides need three fittings to accomplish their look. Alterations on straps, bodice, waist, or hips, are done in the first phase. At your second fitting, we inspect everything done in that first phase, and then we finalize details for the second phase which consists of any finishing work needed on the bodice, hemming, and bustling. At your last fitting, the entire fit is checked, and I will record myself doing your bustle. If you haven’t paid your invoice yet, you will do so at this appointment, sign off on your gown and take it back home with you! I will send your bustle video link within one week after this last fitting.
First, choose a date and time about three months before your wedding for your first fitting. Then check your email for more details about how to be prepared for your fitting and pay your deposit invoice within five days to hold that appointment. (The deposit covers the cost for up to three 1-hour fittings and a customized video on how to do your bustle.) Use the "Book Now" button below!
